Over the past 6 weeks 2nd class attended the gymnasium in Carrick On Shannon and worked on some core gymnastic activities. These included a range of different stretches, fundamental body shapes and balances, different types of rolls and movements on the floor. To do this it was great to use equipment like the beam, spring board, climping equipment, ropes, trampoline and others. It was a very enjoyable and worthwhile experience for us all 👏👏
