This year’s Green Schools Committee is made up of enthusiastic representatives from 1st to 6th class:
Arya, Tom Óg, Ava, Aoibhinn, John, Lola, Lochlann, Eden May, Ben, Katie, Maisie, Miroslav, and Donnacha.
Our school is now working towards our 6th Green Flag on the theme: Global Citizenship – Litter & Waste. 🌍♻️
The committee will be busy raising awareness, leading projects, and encouraging the whole school community to play their part. They will be focusing on:
- Raising awareness about litter and waste.
- Promoting the 3Rs – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.
- Learning about the UN’s 17 Global Goals.
- Encouraging positive action for the environment.
- Building on progress from our other Green Flag areas.
Together, we are committed to making Annaduff N.S a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable place for everyone.
